I don't know that it would be a lecture. I just think that it would be jarring to him and that his reaction to it would be interesting.

I don't know how much to let Lynch's details impact what I think about how Spike might show up in season 8. I have a lot of problems with AtF. I'm hoping that Joss intends to use that material in a very fuzzy way -- i.e. here's the basic facts of what happened -- but without attention to small bits like that.
