I don't like Jeanty very much and while i've not verbalized my problems with his drawings i thought a bit about the superhero genre in general, it's roots, it's underlying ideology and it's representation.
And i can actually see why Whedon picked someone like Jeanty and his style - exactly because it is different than the usual Leni Riefenstahl aesthetics of the superhero genre (whether it is played out as comic or on TV/cinema).
So, no, that doesn't make me like Jeanty (and there are some things he did that are unforgiveable for me - teddy bears in the Buffy/Satsu sex panel, for example!) . But at least it is not crypto-fascist art.
