Honestly, that was the moment that sent me over into extreme happiness over Spike's characterization! Because I could so see him saying "Turn!" and then rethinking it because he always drives over the first establishing landmark when he arrives in town.
The logic of it felt so purely Spike to me that I was immediately over the moon about it.
