Oh, I don't object to a person having a difference of opinion. But you don't show up in someone's journal and tell them to stop posting about what they want to post about (especially if you are a complete and utter stranger).

I think it was Rahirah who talked about subtext in a comment and it was perfectly reasonable the way she expressed her opinion.

I don't think it's fair to use one's emotional reaction as an excuse to treat others badly just because they have a different opinion. (The reason ladyofthelog posted her commentary--which she never bothers to--is because I was very upset by a negative, personal message someone sent me in reaction to my feeling hopeful about the comics.) And to bring this full circle, I really hope I wasn't as bad to you as that back when I was upset with the comics. I still have largely the same opinions now as I did then, but I'm not as ~upset~ and reactive about it now. I do regret that very much.
