I didn't spot the significance of the unmade bed (or I just assumed Spike is messy) but I did wonder, "Is there only the one bathroom on the ship, or else why did Buffy choose to use Spike's personal one?"
I guess all the other bathrooms are optimised for exoskeletons but she's tellingly comfortable with using the one that isn't.
